Marina and Theo were now both elders.
"So, what do you think of your husband's new look?" Theo asked.

Their display of affection embarrassed the kids. Erik turned his back and moved away to inspect the hotel's wallpaper, Sierra closed her eyes, Sarah studied her feet and Stephanie wasn't sure if she should open her eyes or continue cheering...
Marina and Theo left the kids to their own devices and moved to the bedroom.
With their parents ensconced in the bedroom, the triplets left the suite together mumbling something about a sauna or spa; Ryder wasn't sure which. He was about to follow them when Erik stopped him.
"I need to talk to you."
No way in hell! If Erik wanted to talk, he could talk to the hand!
Erik wasn't deterred. "What the hell is wrong with you, Ryder? You're constantly picking fights with me, you're rude to our sisters. Today, if Sierra hadn't intervened, you could have ruined our parents birthday with your stupid tantrum. I think you know that if you have a problem we're all here for you, but you need to talk to us instead of lashing out like an out of control k-"
Ryder interrupted him. "...Kid! That's what you were about to say, right? Well, I'm sick and tired of being treated like I'm three years old. I'm NOT a kid anymore, I'm a teen, almost an adult."
"No one will treat you like an adult with that kind of behavior! If you want to be treated like an adult, first you have to act like one!"
"Yeah? So you're saying that what you did at the triplets party is considered proper adult behavior?"
